GENERAL

All prices and arrangements are subject to change without notice. Cancellations must be received in writing by the dates indicated. HUB SPORTS BOSTON reserves the right to remove intoxicated or disorderly persons from any portion of a game or tournament without refund of money. Drinking is not permitted at any sports event. Please see Refunds section below for more details on the refund policy.

Participants must be 18 or older.

Players must sign a player waiver form before participating in any sports league or Tournament

LIABILITY

Participation with HUB SPORTS BOSTON® and use of the website is voluntary, and with the mandatory understanding of our waiver that is applicable to all softball leagues and Tournaments. Refer to the following:

I, the undersigned individual, consent to my participation in HUB SPORTS BOSTON (“HUB”) and hereby acknowledge, understand, and assume the potential risk(s) of injury involved in my involvement in the League.

I hereby waive and release, indemnify, hold harmless, and forever discharge HUB, and its agents, employees, team owners, officers, directors, affiliates, sponsors, advertisers, successors and assigns, and all other persons or entities acting on their behalf, including, if applicable, owners and lessors of premises used to conduct activities associated with HUB, and the Amateur Softball Association of America, of and from any and all claims, demands, debts, contracts, expenses, causes of action, lawsuits, damages and liability of every kind and nature, whether known or unknown, in law or equity, that I ever had or may have, arising from or in any way related to my involvement in HUB, including but not limited to negligence, breach of contract, or wrongful contact. By signing this Agreement, it is my intention to surrender and waive any rights to sue or exercise any legal right to seek damages for my participation in HUB.

I understand that this Agreement shall be binding upon my heirs, agents, personal representatives and assigns.
I hereby certify that I have carefully read the foregoing and acknowledge that I understand and agree to all of the above terms and conditions. I am aware that by receiving this item, I assume all risk and waive and release certain substantial rights I may have or possess, including any and all risk of injury incurred or suffered by me (1) while practicing or playing as a member of HUB; (2) while serving in a non-playing capacity as a team member during practice or play by other teams or by other players in HUB; and (3) while on or upon the premises of any and all of the fields associated with or used by HUB.

I have carefully read this agreement and HUB’s Rules & Regulations, and fully understand the contents therein. I am aware the agreement includes a waiver of liability and indemnity agreement.

REFUND POLICY

The following is an outline of company policy for all HUB SPORTS BOSTON Leagues and Tournaments. HUB Leagues and Tournaments will operate with a minimum of four (4) teams per league or six (6) teams per Tournament and is then considered live. Space is first come, first serve and dependent upon field availability each season. Decisions to determine how many teams and players can be accepted is based on registrations.

PRICE ADJUSMTENT

You have 7 days from date of purchase to get a price adjustment if price is lowered.

We are happy to process a price adjustment for you if we reduce the price of any league or tournament that you have signed up for within seven (7) days from the date that you submit your order.

TEAM REGISTRATIONS

Cancellation greater than 14 days prior to start of league or Tournament — Full refund of amount paid, less a $50 service charge. – Cancellation less than 14 days prior to the start date of league or Tournament — No refund. – Unpaid balances that remain after the payment deadline are due until paid in full — If teams are unable to play for any reason once the season begins full payment it still due.  Teams are subject to cancellation and forfeiture of all monies paid for any reason.

INDIVIDUAL REGISTRATIONS

Cancellation greater than 10 days prior to the start date of league — Full refund of the amount paid, less $25 service charge. – Cancellation less than 10 days prior to the start date of league, no matter the circumstances (which also includes, but is not limited to illness and injury)– No refund.
