Choosing a League
Most of HUB’s leagues are open to players of all skill levels. There is an expectation where players should know the game’s basic rules. HUB’s Leagues are organized by day of the week & neighborhood, allowing players to choose what’s most convenient for themselves/their team!

-
Pre-season
Before stepping on the field/court, players can expect to receive email communication from HUB! This includes a confirmation of registration email, a team assignment email, and a pre-season email with your first wave schedule. Players are also encouraged to utilize their HUBZone accounts to view/adjust team rosters and access the online game schedule.

-
Equipment
What players are expected to bring really depends on the sport and league. For example, softball players will need to bring their own bats and gloves. Information on this can be found in our rules page or FAQ page.
-
Team Name
Team Captains are able to change their team name at any point during the season. The HUB team will name all teams composed of individuals & small groups but these can also be changed by contacting the HUB office.

-
Team Roster
Full Teams will have a team captain who will be able to edit the team roster. The HUB team will work to place Small Groups and individuals into team rosters. The size of team rosters depends on the sport & league but is ultimately up to the HUB team to decide.

-
Game Schedule
HUB sends out game schedules in 2 waves to ensure less last minute changes to the league schedule. The first wave will include the first week schedule. The second wave will include the remainder of game schedules.

-
Captain Duties
Team Captains are responsible for communication with players and the league once the season begins. Though teams have the freedom to decide playing time & positions, we count on Team Captains to communicate with their team members on game times, schedules, and attendance.

Attendance & Fill-ins
Our HUB SUBS Facebook group is a great resource when looking for game-day subs or fill-ins. We encourage communication with the HUB office if you or your team is experiencing repetitive attendance issues.
