Competitive 2v2 Spike Showdown Tournament League (MIXED)
Ready to take your game to the sand? Join our fast-paced Competitive 2v2 Tournament style league on Carson Beach this Summer! This league will run for 4 weeks (08/02, 08/09, 08/16, and 08/23. Each week teams will play at least 3 other teams in a pool play format with a single elimination knockout round and championship. Each week there will be a NEW Spike Showdown Champ!
* If a team in the league needs to miss a week, HUB will invite a team of “outsiders” to that specific week’s Spike Showdown if necessary
- 2v2 Mixed
- Designed for up to 8 teams
- Full teams are considered to be 2 players
- Guaranteed to play at least 3 matches
- Pool play format followed by single elimination knockout rounds
- Self-Refereed Games
- On-site coordinator to collect game scores & answer questions
All league start dates and field locations are subject to change based on the supply and demand of field space and the number of registrations. HUB Sports reserves the right to adjust the league offerings as necessary.
*Please note: This is a competitive-level tournament league and is not suitable for beginner players. If you have a Yankee rating, this tournament is appropriate for players with an indoor rating (not required) of C- and above. Be sure to indicate your skill level during registration to help us form balanced and competitive teams. It could be suggested to review the USVA beach volleyball rules before playing.
