6v6 Advanced South Shore Spikes Volleyball Tournament (MEN’S)

Get ready to spike, serve, and dive at the South Shore Spikes tourney at Starland Sportsplex on the South Shore! This indoor advanced tournament  is for experienced players who know the game and play it well! If you’ve got strong fundamentals, can move quickly, read the court, and execute with consistency, you’ll fit right in. Players should have experience playing volleyball in a competitive setting and are familiar with indoor rules. (Doubles, carries, lifts, net violations, back row attack.) Players should also understand and be comfortable executing a 5-1 or 6-2 rotation. Players do not need to be specialized in a particular position, but should be familiar with positions and can communicate what they want to play with teammates (Outside, Middle, Opposite Hitter, Libero, Setter).

This year’s event features two divisions: Competitive 6v6 Women’s & Advanced 6v6 Men’s

Format

• 6v6 Men’s
• Full teams are considered to be 6 players
• Guaranteed to play at least 3 matches
• Pool play format followed by single elimination knockout rounds
• Self-Refereed Games
• On-site coordinator to collect game scores & answer questions
• Winners will receive champ shirts!

All league start dates and field locations are subject to change based on the supply and demand of field space and the number of registrations. HUB Sports reserves the right to adjust the league offerings as necessary.
