Foss Park Outdoor Soccer League (Intermediate, OPEN)
Come join us for HUB Open Intermediate Soccer at Foss Park in Somerville! Our Intermediate league is designed for players with a solid understanding of the game who enjoy a faster-paced style of play. This is an Open league, meaning players of all genders are welcome to participate. Most players have several years of experience and are comfortable with a good first touch, playing one- and two-touch soccer, maintaining possession under pressure, and making quick decisions. It’s the perfect fit for players looking to challenge themselves while enjoying organized games against teams of similar ability.
- 24-minute running halves
- 7v7 Open (No gender requirements on the field)
- Games officiated by a certified referee
- All teams qualify for the playoffs
- Teams may play doubleheaders or receive byes
- Dri-Fit shirts (S–XXL) (Full teams receive 10 shirts)
- Full teams pay referee fees ($25/game, cash at the field)
League Format: We aim to run separate Recreational and Intermediate divisions whenever possible. If there aren’t enough teams to support both divisions, they may be combined into a single league. By registering, you acknowledge and agree to participate if the divisions are merged.
All league start dates and field locations are subject to change based on the supply and demand of field space and the number of registrations. HUB Sports reserves the right to adjust the league offerings as necessary.
