Outdoor Sports Are Done – Time For Indoor Fun
Well folks that’s a wrap for the 2017 outdoor sports season! We at Hub Sports Boston proudly offered more leagues and games than ever before in the seven year history of our emerging adult recreational sports organization. From April to November we ran 94 different outdoor softball, soccer, and flag football leagues. Participation numbers soared to over 10,000 members this year as well. Wow, one thing is for sure, we like to play sports in Massachusetts. Just this past Fall we had 34 champions crowned for our outdoor leagues. None of this would have been possible without the loyalty and patronage we receive from our vast makeup of customers in the Greater Boston area. We thank you for making 2017 the best year for outdoor sports yet! It’s no secret that 2018 will only be bigger and better than before so stay tuned for that. But wait…the fun doesn’t stop just yet….Hub Sports Boston goes indoors!
We’re all aware that we’ve hit the dreaded time of the year in New England where Mother Nature tells us that outdoor sports will have to wait until April. It’s the time of the year that all of us residents from the Bay State must go inside to continue our undying love of sports and exercise. The good news in all this talk about winter is that Hub Sports has you covered from head to toe like a snug winter snowsuit. We’re offering up 8 different indoor leagues for the first winter indoor session (4 softball, 2 soccer, 2 flag football). Due to an increase in demand we have expanded our indoor program to geographically accommodate more customers than ever before.
Some say you have a better chance at spotting a Leprechaun than you finding indoor field space in Boston. Since we do not have skills in Leprechaun tracking we’ve focused all our efforts on what we do best, adult recreational sports of course. With Danvers in the North, Framingham in the West and Norwood in the South there isn’t a region we’ve left untended. Getting in the car to drive 15-20 minutes to work up a full sweat and play the sport you love really isn’t that bad. Waiting in line at Planet Fitness to use the dumbbells isn’t anywhere close to catching a 40 yard pass at full sprint for a TD, heading in a corner kick for a goal, or hitting a liner up the middle for an RBI. Sure you get sweaty and exercise in at the gym but nothing compares to a real game. All the athletes out there can attest to the competitiveness a sanctioned game brings about. Not only do you get exercise by playing indoor sports you have a release from everyday life to come to every week. Leave those work deadlines, Facebook drama, and all other types of negative distractions in the car. Once you step onto the field nothing else matters but the comradery that you share with your team mates working towards one goal, winning.

The first indoor league kicks off TOMPORROW night (11/28), however there is still time to register your team or as an individual before registration closes by the end of the week. Act now or forever hold your boredom!
